Electronic Arts are a bunch of cucks!

Initially, I felt that this game was not as good as the 2016 game. I got about halfway through the campaign and grew tired of jumping from wall to wall to find my way to the next fight scene, only to encounter yet another barrage of repetitive monster spawns. I felt the gaming becoming tedious, and became despondent.

I left the game and before jumping back, decided to watch other players play the game. It was then that I realised exactly what this game is. This game is an ode to hardcore DOOM fans! From their perspective, this game is near perfect. And I completely agree, even if I'm unable to enjoy the game to the extent which they're able to.

Average.

For an early access title, frankly I don't even care about the cons because this game is fun. If you love just getting into a game and going ham, this game is for you.

Everything done right in this incredibly cheap, yet excessively fun little gem of a game. More of this please.

Love or hate it, this game is the epitome of "Battle Royale" genre of games.

Picked up this game again after more than 10 years... Stopped playing it due to bugs relating to save games. No bugs present so far, and I can honestly say after having played it for a few hours that this game is a gem.

I feel this game has aged well, but given it's age there are a number of things which can easily detract from the experience. I've listed the most obvious drawbacks below:

1) Weapon bobbing. (Enter 'cam_inert 0' into the console to fix)
2) Lack of colour. (Use a tool like ReShade to tweak the image quality to your liking)
3) Inventory layout can be frustrating at times. (The game is good enough to overlook this one IMO)

Visually captivating with great mechanics and just the right difficulty. If you prefer a casual plat-former with difficult bits here and there, then this game is not for you as you get bombarded you with hordes of enemies from start to finish.

This game is loads of fun for the price. Excellent gunplay with some really hilarious dialogue.

I did experience a bug on Windows 10 64-Bit with NVidia cards where the framerate would simply drop for no apparent reason.
