This DLC should have been the first one released as the majority of what this is here for is relevant in the early game... and then it gets stupid.

As an example, I chose an origin scenario in which you're unshackled from your alien masters and they send debt collectors every so often to make your life miserable. I kick their asses every time even though they spawn in your home-world instead of navigating through your empire. And even after terms are settled with your "antagonist", the debt collectors keep coming back over and over again. Not much substance after a certain point.

What about the rest? Well, cloaking is nice. It changes an aspect of the game for sure but you really need to pay attention to the cloaking ships instead of one of the 40 other situations that you come across every 5 minutes.

The DLC is actually pretty decent and adds some cool roleplaying scenarios that you can play out... but it's just a bit too pricey right now.

I feel cheated.

Mark my words, espionage is something that needs to be in this game. But face it, you want to be the "crisis"

So I booted up a large game, and played my way through. I wasn't trying to be too overpowered but I wasn't a wimp in it either. The crisis event takes shape in an ascension perk followed by special projects over time.

Lo and behold, I'm revealed to be the crisis and every power on the map declares war on me at the same time. And what to you get in exchange? You get 2 ships (powered 35k) in your home system that can crack stars.

Do you get extra pops? Scientific tech or skill trees? Does your economy become stronger or your military fleet capacity bigger? Do the new ships move faster? Do you get extra fleets or armies? No.

So here I was "the Crisis" having to deal with all the issues I was dealing with before but now with everyone gunning for me and... just this overwhemling feeling that I got ripped off by paying full price for this. Then I realized it.... The crisis IS indeed me. Clearly, my play through wasn't good enough and because of that, I had a defining moment when I knew that I was in for an even harder time than before and was doomed.

Great job. I'll wait for the next one to go on sale first. Never again.

The game is quite relaxing once you learn how to interface with it. When you start the game, you'll feel like you're thrown in. But with a little trial and error, you'll catch on to what everything is and how to go about it all.

It quite a relaxing colony sim game. It's probably not the most visually pleasing game and it definitely has a lot of redundant features, but it's a solid enjoyable game.

There is also quite a workshop community in case you want to spice up the game a bit. It's worth your time to play this if you like base building/ colony/ management style games.

I tried to give this a shot, honestly. I wanted it to be a least a little fun. It's not. It's bad. Very bad. The story is bad, the gameplay is bad, and there is no Snake and no Metal Gear. It's just a waste of time and money.

I've had this game for more than a year. There are too many bugs and issues with this game to make it playable.

To top it off, it looks like they barely patch it. Save your money
