TEAM FORTRESS 2 TIPS:
SCOUT: the scout can run and capture cps 2x faster, use this when you are running out of time.
SOLDIER: the soldier can rocket jump, to do this, aim at your feet and at the same time press fire, jump and crouch
PYRO: while pyros an do alot of damage at close quaters, their main weakness is charaters that can keep their distance.
DEMOMAN: demoman, or demo for short, can block routes using his secondary weapon the sticky bombs. wait for the enemy and press right click to explode them all.
HWG (or HEAVY): they are more powerful when they are healed by a medic since healing can buffer any charater up to 150% of their health (300+150=450hp)
ENGINIER: they can only build one of each machine at once, so choose wisly where you want it
MEDIC: when the medic's healgun uber gague is at 100%, he can make one charater and himself invincable for a short time.
SNIPER: snipers are best in wide areas with loads of space (map orange_x is a good example of one) so take a shot and go on, tey not to give away your spot)
SPY: when duisguised as a enemy medic, he does not have the uber gague percentage on him, making medic duisguise not nessasery
