I decided I wanted our home to look pretty.

Mission accomplished, now it's 5 in the morning.

---

Really fun RPG elements, glider mechanic is awesome, shroud mechanic is fun, combat is solid, but the best part of the game hands down is the building.

8/10 Looking forward to a $30 degree in architecture.

I wanted a challenging puzzle game, and was pointed to the Zachtronics games. Needless to say, I'm getting my ass kicked and love it.

I'm pretty new to the game at 3 hours in and this is my first Zachtronics game. I've played other games such as Factorio, but this one is proving to be much harder, although a tiny bit similar in feel logistics and processing wise. So far I'm extremely proud of myself for solving each new puzzle. I feel brilliant upon solving, but feel like a child when I move to the next one. It's extremely fulfilling finding solutions to these puzzles. There seems to be many solutions, and the process seems to be a lot of trial and error, and learning how to better use the mechanics the game throws at you. I'm excited to see where the game goes as I progress more, and will update my review if I hopefully can complete this game.

I'm also excited to play the rest of the Zachtronics series of games.

Update 1: I feel like a god for being able to figure some of these out.

Yes. This is the multiplayer game you and your friends have been looking for all this time... And it's just right here... ten dollars away...

You are guaranteed a great experience with the right people.

I've had some time to play this now. I'll offer some different perspectives about the game without giving anything away.

I've played a lot of Phasmophobia with friends, and we have a great time. After awhile, we just began messing around and pulling shenanigans. It was still freaky at times, but not so much after we started messing around. We still had a blast, but it had its limits of fun with shenanigans. It kind of got repetitive, and the rate that our excitement was spiking was pretty low. Like we'd have a great moment ever 30 minutes or so.

This game it's constant crazyness. It's both hilarious and terrifying at the same time. Every mission invokes wonder of the potential outcomes, and interesting things happen every time. The game loop is very satisfying.

Also, the base game is pretty damn good for it being early access. Unlike Phasmo, where they wasted updates fixing things that didn't really add much to the game, such as the starting area and van, this game is pretty much set up from the get go. All they can really do is add more content and polish some of the world generating elements.

Super fun and deserving of the praise it's receiving.

This is a spoiler free review of both games included in this remake collection. Both games are simply incredible, and I find them to be equal the degree of awesomeness.

Honestly if you got this far into the page and are looking at reviews, just get the game. You will love it.

9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors:

This game is such a great package. From start to finish, I was hooked. It's a great mystery. I can guarantee that your mind will be blown by this franchise. The first game is such a good experience. I have Zero negatives to say about the game, and it's just great. I find it to be a very intelligently designed story, and many moments I questioned how the writers were able to make things fit, and create such a great mystery.

Progression is easily the best aspect for me of the game. I had a great time figuring out the mysteries and where the story was going to go. It really was a pleasurable experience. The characters were very well thought out and the total playtime was great.

Completed fully in 18 hours.

Virtue's Last reward:

This game was just incredible. Simply incredible. Such a great game seriously. However, despite it being more incredible than 999 (imo) it had some drawbacks that were non-existant in 999. The biggest drawback, which is understandable, is the considerably longer playtime. It took me nearly 44 hours to complete VLR, which was fine, because I find myself missing it after starting Zero Time Dilemma. My second negative was the pacing. It felt like the first 15 hours was rather slow, but it is a required negative in order to create such a dynamic and wild story. The other issue is, making a sequel where they "Do it again". They definitely did and you will have your mind blown again.

I highly recommend this series. I think I like it more than Danganronpa, but still need to play the second fully through. The series has reignited a passionate interest in science, as the game has many scientific topics and really drives the player to educate themselves. I find this to be a weird thing to include in a review, but I really have enjoyed the games, they're writing, and their influence on becoming more educated.

Completed in ~44 hrs

Yeah I basically beat this and got 47% achievements within 7 hours of getting it. It was tough to put down, and couldn't until I had seen enough. Really good, highly recommend it if you like interesting VN's.

It's really fun to explore this one in it's entirety.

I have several things I want to get off my chest with this game.

I've played several VN's such as Phoenix Wright, Danganronpa, and Doki Doki. I'm trying to explore the genre. I haven't delved in fiction literature very much. I've get most of my stories through movies, shows, games, and anime.

When I say this is one of the best stories I have ever read, I don't mean to come off as one who finds simple stories to be life changing. I just feel like I have been touched by this story more than many other stories I've experienced over the years. The story told in this game is absolutely incredible. It took me awhile to get into it as I was reading, but perseverance paid off.

Sometimes I feel like I can be a judgmental person, maybe sometimes childish. I feel like there were elements I was able to latch onto and learn from from this story. In short, as ridiculous as it could come off, I feel like I have grown from reading this story, even if it is a small growth.

I don't know if this story is for everybody. Some themes may not be for everyone. But I am so happy that I played it. I jumped in completely blind, which is why I'm not talking about the contents within the game. I cried several times, felt relief and happiness many times, and enjoyed every minute of it.

The music really helped set the tone. There would be certain songs that come on, and just reading the story while listening to certain tracks would send shivers down my spine. I'm now excited to read some more casual VN's such as Nonary Games or that Chunsoft AI game, just because they won't take such a toll on my emotions and feelings like In the House of Fata Morgana did.

If you are considering this game, play it when you are ready for a beautiful story that will touch you and have you thinking about it for days after. Play it blind, don't bother reading the descriptions, just play it.

I love this game so far. Most definitely worth the price tag.

The game has this fun, character driven vibe that fees like an interesting mix of Cave Story and Phoenix Wright.

Each stage is very unique, and packed with surprises. I think my favorite part so far is hitting that button for the first time at the beginning of each stage and seeing what the game throws at me.

It is hard.

Edit: MD-2 and MD-3 can't get enough of these two

If you are looking for a VR game, definitely check this one out. Trailers are nice but when you're in the game for the first time, you can really appreciate the gunplay, weapon handling, and graphics.
