It is a universal, tautological truth that as long as there is judgement there will be superiority, and inferiority; it is a psychological truth that as long as there is inferiority, or rather construal thereof, there will be insecurity, and it is a behavioral truth that insecurity will be almost always either repressed or acted upon, rarely acknowledged and even more rarely overcome.
A greater man than I (or a lesser) would, no doubt, endeavour to assuage the wounds caused by his stature, to diminish himself in order to provide a salve for the bitter scars that envy of him will invariably create, yet I cannot be a greater man than I am, nor a lesser, and therefore you will need to seek solace elsewhere.
I could apologize for circumstances that are beyond my control, but it would be a hollow apology and a meaningless gesture. Know that you have looked on the face of God, or near enough, and try, there, to find peace.

There exists in the soul of every man the desire for merriment, for joy, for company, and yet complete dependence on frivolity, value being placed wholly on some external loci, is ultimately unsatisfying for the man who lives the "examined life", as Socrates put it.
Geworfenheit; anxiety; angst; can one truly combat these forces? Perhaps; perhaps not, and the lack of knowledge is itself damning. This is a place for those who seek not refuge in mauvais foi, nor delusions of nirvana, but the "optimistic toughness" of Sartre.
Join, then, this group, and let it serve as a reminder, when the joy of release comes to an end, that there can be no affirmation that is not internal.
