Its been about 2 years since I last made this description, so as time has gone by things have changed...
I am an engineer, and choose to spend my free time on the PC.
My rig is a 8 core system (2x xeon 5345) based on the TYAN Tempest I5400pw motherboard, I have 8GB out of 128GB capacity, ddr2 667mhz ecc. GPU is Geforce 550Ti, SSD is 60GB OCZ Vertex Plus. I have 32" VDU samsung syncmaster 320px - not bad for my forth PC build.
I enjoy the single player games, but also like onlne games like Gmod. I still like first person shooters, but I have to say strategy and RPG I like a lot.
Some classics I like are Morrowind, Master of Orion II, X-beyond the frontier, Quake, and Deus ex which may not look as nice and shiney as more recent games, but they are legendary since they have better gameplay in my opinion. the new games tend to focus on graphical elements, but to me gameplay is more important.
Skyrim is amazing, and I recently got into Star-trek online which is very immersive and I recomend both.
Other things, I dabble with computers, servers, networking, electronics, high-voltage stuff, Amateur Radio, Game programming.
Anyway always looking for people to game with so hit me up if your local.
To counter the homophobic sentiment that has lingered in video gaming communities since its conception, we have established ourselves as a group that provides a safe haven for all gamers to play free of any kind of bashing.
Our goal is to rally queer FPS supporters into a group where we will be respected by the First Person Shooter community.
Our name, Fraggots was derived from the two words Frag and Faggot. It serves as a combination of the pejorative term for queer people and the essence of what we as FPSers do in game. It’s a different kind of label – one that brings with it the notion that we refuse to be marginalized.
A very good game. Gameplay indeed met my expectations by delivering very intense gunfights and well programmed AI, which was refreshing. Story was immercing & gripping, I have not played the first mass effect so i knew nothing about the plot, but this game puts the story into context so even new players can understand. The enemies and levels were varied, and there were a lot of charater building instances throughout the game.
The bad points: not many. The resourse collecting thing got a bit boring after a while, and I ended up having so many resourses that I couldnt ever use them all... and by the end of the game I had over 100000 of each element, couldnt even trade them in...
There were some other small gliches like problems with walk zones, but only happned twice in the game, fixed by re-loading.
The main story also seemed too fast, it would have been nicer to see more plot missions etc.
7/10 - So far the Alpha release is ok, would have liked it if their was custom race creation, and more options for the galaxy and selectable racial traits, but otherwise it is quite an interesting game, I was expecting more from it, I do like games such as Space Empires etc, and Master of Orion etc. This is more Graphicaly pleasing, but lacks the more advanced controls found in SE. I hope perhaps this will be adressed in the final release.
Compared to Oblivion this game is a vast improvement, very detailed and I would highly recomend it to anyone who has played any of the Elder Sscrolls series or whom enjoys RPG games.
I give it a well deserved 9 - 10 since there are still some game bugs but its otherwise a very good game.
