No, it's a fix for the censored Aussie version so us adults can play the game it was meant to be played. Not some watered down crap due to our stupid government not giving us an R18 rating for video games...
And Abomination, I'm not sure how to get the achievements to work with the 510 trick. Hopefully modders or whatever will find out how. I'll be getting my copy (uncut) imported from NZ in a few days so hopefully it will be uncut here

Alright man, this method works for the demo but I don't know if it'll work for actual game. If it doesn't just delete my comment-
Go to: "C/program files/steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2 demo/"
Open the file named "steam_appid". It will say "590", so change it to 510 then save and go back to "/left 4 dead 2 demo/"
Go into the folder called "left4dead2" and find a file called "steam". Open and it should say the following:
"PatchVersion=1.0.1.1
ProductName=left4dead2
appID=590"
Only change the 590 to 510 then save.
Now launch the Left 4 Dead 2 demo from "left4dead2.exe" in the "/left 4 dead 2 demo/" folder.
