This is an awesome game of tactics. I like to call it "chess with guns". You're given a variety of different units on a random map and, depending on the mode, you're given a task to complete. My favorite is dark extermination (deathmatch). "Dark" game modes only show you the enemy if you have line of sight, "Light" game modes always show you the enemy.
A brilliant portion is the ability to simulate what the other team does as well--you're able to set up your units movement and shots and watch how it all plays out against (what you think) the enemy might do. If you didn't like the outcome you can change your game plan. And when you're all done you "Prime" your move to commit to it and wait for their move to be finished.
I give this game my highest recommendation.

Recommended for Casual FPS players. No perks or customisation beyond class selection. Pure enjoyment no matter how much time spent with it.
Beautiful game to play with hot swapping multiplayer. Easy going platformer for all levels of play.
