The Outlaws started on the 10th of August 2002. Back then we were playing 1.3b and MG’s weren’t yet a part of Day of Defeat.

The Outlaws was started by GrandOldMan who at that time went under the name kamakazy smølf. He talked to his son TheSteelDuck, who was known as Tumpe smølf if they shouldn’t make a clan, and as a change it shouldn’t be a 17 year old kid with too high blood pressure and a high voice to be the clanleader. The little family got the remaining members from Team Smølf and from Creatures of Darkness. 2 minor clans from Tåstrup. And like that, The Outlaws were made.

[TO] has had a lot of ups and downs in the past 4½ years. But we focus on the social part of the game. Cause it’s not fun playing a game, which you don’t really enjoy. A look back at the time of [TO], we’ve pretty much kept the game on the level where we still were having fun.

In 2003, [TO] won DOGL 2. Division, and about 7 months later, we were number 3 on Clanbase Div. C Ladder. During our time, we have had 2 FFA servers and 1 CW server up and running. And along with many other danish clans, the DK BootCamp servers were born. Back then, Null_Bit set up the servers for [TO] and the Danish Day of Defeat community.

A lot of people started their DOD career in [TO], because we’ve always been ready to take people in who haven’t been in clans before, and this is still something we work with. This helps the Danish community to get fresh blood.

Today [TO] is a 100% Day of Defeat: Source clan, and have been so ever since Day of Defeat: Source came out.

You can kill an outlaw, but you can never destroy The Outlaws.
