You adopt a dog and a sexy sniper is always half naked.

Sure, you may have lost an eye, and aged...

But come on, you adopt a dog and always in the company of a half naked sexy woman!
F*cking buy the game if you have a heart!

"Yeah, it's not easy bein' a greenskin on this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ continent..."

You're still the good guy.

For a game that uses the word "F*ck" roughly once every other line of dialog, it's surprising just how fitting the name is.
You play the anti-Heroes
Bashing Humans to death
Arguing amongst yourselves
Burning buildings to the ground

But it's okay, you've said ♥♥♥♥ a lot and you're still the good guy!

Though the 10-14-hour story isn't quite as deep as it'd like to be, and the constant treachery of other characters can grow a little exhausting, Of Orcs and Men still manages to provide one of the better role-playing adventure stories I've experienced in a while. With its dark world and characters that seem very human despite their fantastical genus, there should be few people who won't feel satisfied by the plot, as it grows from a story of foolhardy revenge to inspiring rebellion.

Pro's!

+ Beautiful Soundtrack
+ Great Storyline with its twists and turns (although somewhat predictable at times)
+ The ability to switch between characters easily, and play to both their strengths or weaknesses
+ Honest foul language, no censorship here! Along with a good laugh.
+ Stragetic Skill tree (work your characters together, or go for the sole OP skills)
+ Was given a prequel due to its success
+ More than one way to go about missions/storyline (sneaky way or full on bash mode)

Con's!

- The battle system can feel sluggish
- Linear Path throughout the story
- Awkwardly animated and poorly voiced non-main characters

180 or so hours was enough to learn enough Russian for my trip to Russia.

I didn't need to learn anymore Russian so I stopped playing DoTA.

May you enjoy learning Russian as much as I did!

What is The Division ?

It is a game about rebuilding New York City some time after a virus has wiped out "civilization" as one would know. There are thugs/gangs rampaging the city as others starve, police are disorganised, resources are spread and not being used effectively... then comes you.

This a RPG/FPS where you level up from completing main/side missions, finding hidden objects/devices, killing enemies, helping citizens etc & those levels will assist you with perks, better armour/guns, and certain abilities (such as heal, or throw down a turret).

It can be tedious at times repeating missions or seeing the same kind of side mission but from what I've experienced so far the story is quite nice (but if you take too long doing main missions you may feel disconnected from it), but the PvE side of it isnt the only aspect, there is only the "Dark Zone" which is PvP, where players can compete for loot/exp and kill, OR, help each other.

++++

• The game (not the servers) runs great and very smooth and there are very few loading parts of the game as it loads as you move. [[Please NOTE, some people think theyre experiencing a blackscreen after the intro, but thats because their computers are loading slowly, WAIT and the game will run!]]
• The ability to design your character in both face, and clothing. Which i am sure many would spend quite a bit of time on.
• The different sections of the city between PvE and PvP offer options to all kind of players between both offline and online play, as well as the challenges that come along with it.
• Similiar to fallout 4, there is a reward for players who choose a harder option for missions in terms of better rewards.
• The ability to play with your friends in all aspects of the game in both PvE and PvP, to co-op missions, or team together in the darkzone for either going rogue together, or killing AI together.
• A pretty big map, that gets harder the more you move away from your initial base
• I'm pretty early on in the game at this time ~8 hours, but there is some nice character development for not only the main character, but for those around him as well, as well as a lot of lore in terms of recordings both audio and visual.
• A very beautiful and detailed map, if you cross the game map over with the map of New York you see very little differences (they have purposely left out certain parts)

++/--

• There is a lot of gameplay here with a massive map. But like Fallout 4 or other similar games which offer a lot of side missions, it can feel repetitive at times if you're going for the same kind of missions, or strictly just moving side mission to side mission without the exploration part.
• As already stated, there is PvP in the darkzone where you can play with friends - but be warned, those without friends or who choose to go solo may be able to defeat AI, but there are players who enjoy gangbanging other players as a team, which can leave you very frustrated when they steal all the items you've been collecting.

----

• As already mentioned, the servers can and do collapse sometimes (at least in these first few days that i've been playing it) - However the game saves tremendously well to the point where you're basically put back exactly where you were before it went down with everything you previously had.

Conclusion

The game has hit some rough interface issues in the first day or so due to underestimating the massive server needs, but that is usually expected with most mainstream games.
The game itself.. it has a beautiful ingame environment, as well as very nice video parts. The character development is extremely good and is still growing [Not yet completed].
The game is NOT linear in the slightest offering options everywhere with multiple side missions as well as multiple main missions at once, giving "suggested" levels before going for them, however, my mum never raised a quitter, level suggestions mean nothing!

Honestly, if you're reading the reviews, then you're looking at this game because its the type of game youre interested in - in that aspect then I recommend this game because it delievers almost everything it promised in trailers and such, people are just complaining about blackscreens/server crashes too much as the blackscreen isnt even a problem, theyre just impatient with slow computers, and server issues always happen to new games.

Always watch a demo before buying, do not just rely on text reviews.

Kindest regards.

I was fortunate enough to get to play this game the day before general release date.

As you can tell already from the pictures, you are a (chosen) normal guy thrust into a grand storyline with a party of girls in bikini's, not much to complain about!

Pros:
• An interesting storyline with a fairly averaged size open world for a game of this quality (indie RPG maker)
• The ability to have other ways of travelling (such as ships/air ships)
• A few hidden secrets that are not essential to the game, but are an added bonus that can take some hunting
• Intriguing art - although the RPG itself is in the usual RPG maker art, the art of the characters is a nice addition to a standard of game that usually wouldnt bother.
• The ability to sprint, thank god! Moving slowly in games like this can be tedious.
• Easy achievements if you're into that (can get all from <3 hours of play)

Cons:
• The speed bubbles can take some time to open/close if you're impatient like me.
• There is a minimal glitch that has a flickering screen if you load with full screen, simply toggle between non-fullscreen and fullscreen to fix instantly.
• Although it does have an open world aspect, the game is still a bit linear in the sense that certain locations can only be entered/opened once achieving something in the storyline.
• The bosses havent been difficult, although I have ventered into areas seemingly too early and died very easily, which is a harsh punishment as my last save was an hour ago.. But if you face bosses // stages when you're meant to, theyre reasonably easy to beat (some you dont even need to heal)

---

The game is what you'd expect overall, if it is something you're looking for, then you'd obviously enjoy it.
Do not expect a massive 40+ RPG because you will not receive it.
If you're looking for a simple RPG that will interest you throughout its short-average lifespan, then this is a good buy for sure.

However, if you're looking to burn a few hours on a decent story that is set up to continue, and support a good game from some indie developers, then give it a go, I know I definitely enjoyed the game and more or less played it through and through :)

Pro:
• Can spell anything with achievements and show off on your profile & get excited about swearing.

Con:
• You lose your life away enjoying it too much and the frustration that it takes so long to achieve them all.

After playing this my friends wanted to play hide & seek with me.

Well, they're better at hiding than they are at this game !!

I Am Alive gives players a pure survival experience at a low price.

It is a short game, easily completed in 6 hours or so if you run through it.
The reason Im at 9 hours is simply because I wanted to explore more of the world and do some little side quests that there is very little reward for.

However, dont be fooled, this is a beautiful game

I Am Alive thrusts you into the role of a lone survivor in a believable, dark and insecure post-apocalyptic world. One year after the Event, a worldwide cataclysmic event that wiped most of the human race, a man struggles for survival in a desolate city as he tries to reunite with his long lost wife and daughter.

Pros

+ I Am Alive is brutal; gripping; captivating; depressing; miserable; and almost always utterly brilliant.
+ Storytale & development of both character and storyline is amazing
+ Emotional rollercoaster

Cons

- Linear game
- Short
- A game without a concluded ending
