haha! this game is pretty damn awesome. I have a new respect for truck drivers.
you have to be careful not to damage your truck and your shipment. you are timed. you have to rest (you will start yawning if not, it's pretty neat). you have to fill up your tank with gas. you use a GPS system. you get extra money and XP for backing your shipment into the delivery spot - it's such a crazy concept for a game, maybe because i've never played any sim except microsoft flight sim back in like 1992, but it's actually a nice change from first person shooters and such. give it a try, if you really try to enjoy it you certainly will.

fun game, great 8-bit /16-bit looking graphics, somewhere between nintendo and super nintendo. great way to pass a few minutes at work when you need a break. cheap, too.

This is definitely worthy of 2012 Game of the Year. Holy crap. I finished this game yesterday at work and I was literally crying at my desk. Quietly so my friends wouldn't see or hear me, of course. If you haven't played this yet you are really missing out.

Well, it's not Left4Dead, that's for sure - but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
You play as one of four guys, each with their own unique masks. There is no benefit for picking one guy over the next, from what I can tell - but they do look slightly different. You go throw heists/chases doing certain objectives - which can be anything from using a powerdrill to crack a safe while defending the area from police, to chasing a traitor through the streets while avoiding and or killing police officers (which is kinda fucked up, really...)
As you do heists and what-not, you'll earn money which is actually more like experience points because you can't really spend the cash - you just level up once you get to a certain amount. As you level up you unlock things like perks and weapons or gadgets. You can customize your loadout before each heist to include things like ammo bags or extra zip-ties to tie up civilians and/or police for negotiations. Anyway - it's fun. I can't type any more in th

this game is a lot of fun. you will die, that's for sure - but you will get better with each death, learning how to defend yourself and repair your ship/crew correctly. i really like it. give it a try.

This game is in my top 5 list, for sure. I put in over 130 hours into this game on XBox360 and also own it on Playstation 3. The soundtrack is amazing - even though there are not many songs, I could listen to it all day (and I do sometimes @ work).
This game has some of the best single player DLC ever. The game of the year edition comes with all of this DLC so I recommend buying that version of the game if you can. I recently picked this game up AGAIN on PC so that I could play through it again using some awesome downloadable mods that make the game look amazing... and they really do.

Summary - One of the best games ever with some of the best DLC ever. Tons of weapons, tons of missions, great story, great characters, etc. Pick up the GOTY ediition if you can. This game blows New Vegas away.

i don't think i really need to say this, but this is one of the best games ever made. if you haven't played it you should definitely do that now.

Really fun & unique spin on Tower Defense. Some of the later levels are a bit hard, but it's still fun.

THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER MADE. THE WEAPONS ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PIECES OF VIDEO GAME ART EVER CREATED.

Unique gameplay mechanics but tough learning curve. The multiplayer is really hard to get into, but seems cool.
I really like the capture-point gameplay that most of the single player missions provide.

Well, I got this game because it was really cheap (~$4.00 or so) and becaues I loved the first game. American Nightmare uses the exact same game mechanics, of course, but puts you in a few differnet locations.
I'll do this without spoiling anything - there are 3 locations that you play in, and after you finish the 3rd you get stuck in a 'time-loop' and have to do them all again, then once you finish the 3rd location that time you have to do it ONCE AGAIN. It's a cheap way to extend the game and I don't really like the way they did it. That being said, it's still the same great Alan Wake gameplay. I loved the way the weapons felt in AW1 and i still feel that way about the weapons in this game. They sound great and really feel powerful when you use them.

TL;DR - Not worth the full price of $15.00 - but for $5.00 or less it's worth it. Repetitive gameplay is it's only downfall - and it's a big one.

i've always wanted to play Trine and Trine 2, but never did for one reason or another. Howerver, I got this a couple days ago on sale for ~$4.00 and totally regret not playing this until now. The visuals are amazing - some of the best i've ever seen in an indie game. I was kind of worried about how the controls would work switching between the 3 characters, but it's pretty seamless and works very well. Oh, it's also cooperative on one computer, using multiple keyboards or controllers. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. I am playing with an xbox360 controller and I suggest you do the same.

yes. badass. dangit. get this.
23 August 2012 @ 5:55pm
this game still holds up after all these years. definetely worth playing.
it's FPS Star Wars where you play as a bad-ass commando squad leader in charge of 3 other commando's, each with their own specialty. The squad-based gameplay isn't really that deep, but it's still fun.

awesome, relaxing game

dang, this game is actually pretty good.

do i really need to type anything here? the best class-based shooter ever. i've played this series since the Quake 1 Mod when i was 12 years old. get this, it's free now.
15 January 2012 @ 8:21pm
this game is unlike anything i've ever played! it's really fun, but really hard (i'm stuck at the Vini Vini Vinci section - google it). You only use the arrow keys and the space bar. The space bar flips gravity so you are either on the floor or on the ceiling - they use this mechanic to create some really awesome puzzles.
15 January 2012 @ 8:19pm
this is one of the best top-down shooters i've ever played.
you can use your xbox controller, so that's a plus - but the last level is hard as shit.... i still haven't beaten it, even with Kenny helping me out at work.
you can play with up to 3 friends on the same computer, with either keyboards or controllers. it's fun, trust me.
15 January 2012 @ 8:17pm
this is one of my favorite games... if you get it you better tell me so that we can play. it's perfect for work because you can take your time and make your move whenever you get a couple minutes. you also get two copies if you buy it, so you can split the price with someone and you will both get a copy - this is what i did.
just looks up some videos on youtube if you are on the fence.
