If you have been invited to this community, it is because you have played in our public servers. We use this tool to keep our players up to date on upcoming events such as tournaments and contests within our community. It is also a great way to allow people to find our servers again! The Weapons of Mass Destruction online gaming community was formed in 2006 to provide the public a mature & hassle free place to play their favorite games. We started out as a small group of people who loved to play Counter-Strike: Source, we now host game servers for CS:S, DoD:S, TF2, and CoD4. We’re dedicated to keeping all of our game servers running smoothly and asshat free, it’s our number one concern (well, number 2, our number 1 concern is gaming!).

Thanks to the overwhelming contributions from our members and the general public month after month, we have our own dedicated server located in Chicago. This machine is an octal core beast with 4GB of RAM on a 100Mb connection. Having this machine allows us to be very dynamic when it comes to hosting, if a new game or mod comes out that we wish to try, we simply launch a new server and give it a try.

The last 8 months of our community have been especially exciting; we’ve been growing at an incredible rate. Our growth left us no choice but to move to a new website design.
