Oceania Gaming Registry will provide Australia, New Zealand, and other countries in Oceania with the opportunity to participate in large scale clan-based tournaments. Currently, Counter-Strike: Source is our most popular game, however, OGRE would like to extend a warm welcome to players and clans of any steam game.

I would like to take a brief moment to explain our mission and business model:

OGRE will produce and market a free toolbar with a "Powered by Google" search engine.

Through active use of this toolbar, users can provide a small amount of funding for OGRE.

Funds generated through useage of the OGRE toolbar can be channeled back into the OGRE community in the form of new, very high quality training and tournament servers as well as competitions with prizes potentially ranging from single games, through multiple games packs, and possilby even as far as giving away entire gaming platforms complete with games.

OGRE will setup and maintain websites and forums in order to facilitate the organization of clan wars and large-scale, Oceania-wide tounaments.

OGRE will maintain a ranking system wherby clans and teams will be able to compete with one another for the top position.

At the end of a specific period (end of year?) the leading clan/team may recieve prizes for their performace over the year.

The success of OGRE's competitions, servers, and tounaments depends on how many people join the community and use the toolbar.

OGRE's folmular equates to this:
More members + more use of the toolbar = Bigger competitions + more servers + better tounaments.
