WHAT HAPPENED TO ME, i traded with a guy who added me from outpost to sell me some items, and it so happens that the account was hijacked, i had no way of knowing how or who i was trading with ( if it was original owner ) and Valve permabanned me, aparently if you trade with a hijacked account you get permabanned regardless if you knew or not. So the question is, how are you suposed to know that the person you are trading with is the original owner.... eh? theres 0 method of knowing, its complete bullshit.
if a guy wants he can hack an account, give a load of items of free and voila all the people who received items are now flagged by valve, i sent in many tickets with much proof showing that i was scammed on this transaction ( as i lost my items and money too ) I even contacted the owner of the account that i traded with after he was restored and he sent in a ticket to valve to clear my name but they dont give a fuck,
valve pretty much told me: ''fuck you enjoy your ban we dont give a fuck that you are a 7 year customer and you have over 700$+ games, we dont give a fuck about our customers''
So yeah, i just lost 1000$ backpack that i was suposed to resell to cover this month's living expenses, thanks valve, thanks for having the worst system ever and for being pieces of shit.

That sucks. My friend got trade banned by valve till june because somebody impersonated him and scammed a HOUWAR and ValvE thought it was him. It's pure bullshit
