Project Jiva is an active attempt at remaking the popular Half-Life 1 mod, "The Specialists" usually abbreviated to TS, for the much less limited Source engine used by Half-Life 2.
It was founded by a few members of TS's roleplay community, such as DfKimera, Xalphox, Karnage aka Ryan, b4ckdw0 and Ovi (the somewhat legendary roleplay map maker.)
