Early Access Review
Combat is very fluid and deep. Different skills can completely change how you fight, and you can pretty easily re-spec to try out other builds if you like. Fighting isn't a mash of pixels like bullet hell games. While it's a bit faster than something like Secret of Mana it still relies on skill and handling timing.

The graphics are much better than others you'll find on steam (like, wanderlust for instance) and work at large resolutions.

Controller support isn't the best, but using something like joy2key works fine.

There are two bad parts of the game:

1.) Windows only. Linux/OSX support would be nice. This is extremely unlikely to ever happen based on how slow development has been for really simple things.

2.) Lack of story content. While there is a fair amount of side things to do, the story is comically short for as long as it has been in development, and updates have been at best slow to come. In the last 2.5 years, there is basically one new dungeon, which is a short one.

I still doubt that this game will ever be "finished" in a worthy state, but its worth at the very least checking out the demo.
