Prior to starting Jane's Combat Simulations, Jane's was known (and might still be) for making ridiculously meticulous books detailing various technology and especially military hardware. Their sims under the Jane's Combat Simulations name were known as some of the best and most realistic, especially for their time. As an avid fan of what are referred to as "study sims" (such as this), the first game from a company OTHER than Jane's I encountered that delivered that level of detail was DCS's A-10C module.
With this game, welcome to the golden age of simulation gaming, but thankfully today we have things like DCS, at least for the air.
Now Im ready for this genre first I purchased Atlantic Fleet followed by Battlestattions:Pacific/Midway,UBOAT and now 668(I) Hunter/Killer and I wonder why not much more ppl play this cool game? Thanks for U review!
