Death by Design

The term "Tier-One Team" refers to the outstanding personal character of our members. We recognize we have many tiers yet to climb in the 1.6 competitive world.

In terms of the U.S. Special Forces command structure, "Tier-One" is also a reference to units under the Joint Special Operations Command group (JSOC). Specifically, the term is often used in reference towards 1st SFOD-Delta (Delta force) and Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU, formerly Seal-Team 6). These units represent the top level assets in the U.S. Counter-terrorism arsenal and we find them particularly well suited for referencing our CS team.
