One of the best games I've ever played.

I almost never write reviews, but this game is just AWESOME and deserves a recommendation.

Why is it awesome? Combat is just plain amazing, especially horse combat. This is the best implementation of mounted combat in any game ever IMO. I have yet to get bored of fighting and I have done ever single fight possible...I have NO IDEA why they even add the option to skip battles when it is so damn fun.
All of the strategy, fief management and rpg elements in the game are all done very well without much fluff and without taking away from any other aspect of the game.

What is bad about the game? I have no idea yet! I have yet to find anything to complain about in the game, once I do I will edit this review.

Final thoughts - I can't believe I waited so long to buy this game!!! When ever the preorder comes out for the next one I will be first in line because this game is just simple awesome in every way.

If you like Medieval strategy games and haven't played this game you are punishing yourself. From the first time I played this game I loved it. I orginally bought this game from fileplanet which went crazy and I couldn't get it on my new pc. Then I bought it again from gamersgate and played it a TON. When I noticed it came to Steam I just had to buy it again because it's just that good. I have put countless hours into this game and hope and pray they make a sequel. When it's on sale you can literally get it for like $2-5 and it's worth so much more than that. The strategy aspect of the game is deep because you can take control of the battles and use your soldiers strengths to your advantage allowing you to be insane odds with clever play.

If you get the mods out there for this game you'll get hundreds of hours of fun out of it. I got to the point were I was editing the game files to make it like Game of Thrones or Rome and such. With the online editors and mods you can basically make the game what you want.
