Hey, I was having fun. Pretty nice graphics, entertaining storyline, lots of skills/traits/etc. across several characters, still had plenty to do and plenty to unlock even after ~20 hours into the game.

That said, my save file inexplicably corrupted. I still have the same characters unlocked, but every single stat, achievement, and level are baffling gone. Even more bizarrely, part of my menu is now in French (?? I don't even know). Tried the Steam file check, uninstalled/reinstalled, no luck.

Can't even recommend on sale with a game-killer like that. Skip it.

So here's the thing: the combat is brutal. If that's your thing, you're golden. If you're trying to do the atmosphere, lore, story, etc., you're in luck - there's cheat settings that let you, e.g., one-shot enemies and/or be invincible. Life is short - use 'em. (and either way you play, a great game)

Still pretty janky, voice-acting isn't great, but the story and side characters are salvageable. The driving is tedious and persnickety, but the combat/skills/stealth is generally pretty manageable. Doesn't - and probably couldn't - live up to the hype, but was still (mostly) fun to get thru the main story. 7/10, would listen to the weird editing on Canoe's lines again (and will probably give the Phantom Liberty DLC a spin).

I played this right after wrapping Cyberpunk (which was an enjoyable, albeit janky, mess of a game), and - very much oozing Destiny 2 (so, repetitive in parts, perpetual inventory-tweaking, etc.) - it was a nice, "brain in neutral, things go boom" play, a palate-cleanser. Story was actually far more solid than I expected, plenty of hours of game play, and the voice acting was light years above Cyberpunk (sorry, Canoe). Worth a buy on sale (tho I didn't do the Worldslayer expansion, so no thoughts on that). A few things will get old after awhile (e.g., constantly driving back to a couple of the towns to wrap quests), but pretty to look at, stable, and thousands of dead monster. 8/10, would hunt for the signal again.

Must-buy if you do deckbuilders. Lovely art (as you're getting wrecked by the last guy), calming soundtrack (as you're getting wrecked by the last guy), fun path-choosing (which will ultimately lead to the last guy, who will wreck you), and hey, who doesn't want to lead an army of beavers (who will, unfortunately, get wrecked by the last guy).

Been in a run of deckbuilder games, and this is easily one of my faves, up with STS; definitely worth a buy.

Entertaining romp - interesting story, fun skill trees, battles manageable but neither too easy or too hard. Fair amount if inventory-tinkering, but provides a nice breather between crawl/battle. Must-buy if dungeon crawlers are your thing.

Hey, chill 10-hour palate cleanser between the 100-hour epic games you're otherwise playing, for a couple of bucks? Do it.

If you're a Banner Saga fan, this is a must-have. Ton of characters, complex story, and a shade more battle-strategy than Banner Saga.

Loved this game - teases you with easier clues, then puts your brain to work to solve everything that happened with the Obra Dinn. Absolutely a must-buy.
