If you're a Bill Murray fan, or a Ghostbusters fan in general, then this game isn't all bad. The script is great. My wrath comes down primarily on Atari.

This game has a disgusting memory leak. I've been playing first and third person shooters for years, and have a lot of control with them, on a pretty good gaming PC with specialized hardware that could not exist at the time that Ghostbusters was made. All the same, I cannot play it above Casual/Cinematic, because of the awful slowdowns. A memory leak is a serious problem, and it was holistically ignored by Atari QA, even to this day.

Art is amazing, script is wonderful, and outside of a glitch with cutscenes the sound is synchronized. The programming leads to slowdowns that quickly make the game unplayable. I believe I have gotten around most of them by exiting to the menu; then reloading your game and continuing. However, save points are automatic and without notification, and doing this causes you to jump back to the last checkpoint. They are sporadic at best.

If you can get it for three bucks, it might be worth it. I would not pay anything more for the game.

Don't be an idiot. "Because it worked for me it should work for you" That's a stupid way of thinking. Not everyone's PC is the same. Plus, he has a gaming PC. He clearly said it in the review, with hardware that is probably better than yours. Not every game is optimized for AMD or Nvidia. That could be the issue, who knows. Anyway, moral of the story Tonkenise, you're a moron.
