Thanks for the DOTA2 gift! I installed it straight away, but haven't played it yet – preparing for a trip to Auckland. Post on my steam wall if you want to catch up while I am over there. (08/02-15/03) Cheers!

Sorry, that was 'Torchlight 2' not 'Trine 2', wasn't it? Both have online co-op, but one's an isometric RPG and the other a sidescrolling RPG.

Sorry I couldn't join for the Killing Floor game today. Steam refused to let me start any games, so I had to delete everything bar steamapps and steam.exe, and update, which took forever and a system reboot.

I switched content server to US - Los Angeles, hope I don't get this problem again.

Still very interested in buying into the Trine 2 4-pack pre-order you are setting up. Did you find another two team members?

BTW, did you find any local servers for SMNC?

Played Killing Floor for the first time today. It's really fast and hectic, and I was surprised there were boss battles too! Took me a while to figure out a control scheme I was comfortable with, as you have to constantly switch between melee and ranged combat.

Played online and there are tons of local servers with people playing.

I think using the welder is key to team survival at higher difficulty, but you have to know where the zombies come from on each map, and at least one team member has to cover the welder. Or maybe he should do the welding while everybody else is in the shop, and just pick up ammo lying around. I already found a thread, but it doesn't have any maps. A Brady Games - style playguide would be really handy for this game.

It seems character progression carries between single and online play, like Borderlands, but equipment and money don't.

Love to join in next time you have a game!
