The root$ name was originated in the Counter-Strike beta years by my brother and myself (Gamble). The name itself comes from Linux (if you know anything about Linux you'll understand it). It has grown and evolved into mainly a CS:S clan but also plays games ranging from TF2 to Hidden and so on. This is the third official installment of the root$ name and hopefully it will be the last.
