EDIT- Crashing in this game has gotten worse since posting the review. Every game I've played the save file has gotten corrupted and the game crashes. Game is unplayable with all the bugs.

I'm a big fan of strategy war games but I can't give a positive review to Warlock 2. The game doesn't have much strategy to it at all and it's very tedious when the game gets larger. Having an army isn't really important and units strengths/weaknesses are only there for show. In Warlock 2 you want to get the biggest unit and have it fight everything. Rinse and Repeat. That's pretty much all there is to it. There is also no good explanation of how the game works and a lack of tutorial and a good way to look at the skill tree and unit specs was frustrating.

Warlock 2 also has the problem where the missions don't have an explanation as to what you're supposed to be doing. For example, I got the the very last "mission" where you're supposed to kill a boss (2 headed dragon with lots of HP) and spend a long time killing him. It turns out; he's unkillable and ignores damage once he hits one HP. Again, no explanation as to why or what you're supposed to do. I'm sure I could figure it out but the game just isn't worth the time.
