Want to learn how to airblast rockets or pop enemies in the air and hit them again before they land? There's an awesome practice map using bots that you can run on your own computer. See a video of it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiVzFMO3QVM and download it here: http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=8909

Welcome to my profile! Please don't add me to your friends list unless you use a microphone and communicate with your Team Fortress 2 teammates.

Playing as a Team:

Want to have better, more fun games of team fortress 2? Get a microphone! It's called TEAM fortress 2 for a reason. Communicate with your teammates. It makes the game MUCH more fun too - you'll get to know people. You can get a deskstand micorphone at discount stores like Target for less than $10.

Keep it short and sweet - what and where. "Heavy, front door". "Pyro, soldier, sniper, sewer". And MOST important, when you or the people you are with pick up the enemy intel, tell your team where it is BEFORE you die - then we know where to go to grab it. "Bottom of spiral". "Top of straight". "Sink room". "Under grate".

Security:

Be careful of people sending you offers for free games or messages like "OMG WTF? HAAHAHAH" and a link. Clicking on links in Steam chat is the most common way Steam accounts are stolen. When you click on the link, it runs a script on the page linked that changes your Steam password and you can no longer log in. Or, it might be a copy of the Steam login page that asks you to log in. The person who sent you the link now has control of your Steam account. See the instruction below on how to get it back by contacting Steam support.

Here's an example of such a link that was sent in Steam chat (it has been changed so it doesn't do anything): http://storesteampoowered_viewprofile48960231215797.9hz.com/

You can prevent your Steam account from being stolen by confirming an email address for your steam account. It will NOT show your email in steam. To set it, in the main Steam window, go to Steam->Settings. Click "Change contact email" and fill in your email address. Steam will then send you an email with a link to click for confirmation. Once you do this, any changes to your account can not be made unless you confirm it by replying to an email they will send when anyone trys to change the password asking for confirmation. So even if you accidentally click on one of these links, you will only be sent an email and, as long as you don't confirm, your password will not be changed.

To reclaim a hijacked Steam account, go to https://support.steampowered.com/ and click on the link that says: Reclaiming a Hijacked Steam Account
