yes, I know my mods aren't on the L4D workshop. they're still downloadble via the wonders of the internet, just like they were before the workshop.
A gaming group that can be found in: Left 4 Dead, Day Of Defeat: S, TF 2, Garry's Mod, Borderlands, and Resident Evil 5. Excels in teamplay, and the structure of a good squad. A clan that avoids the rogue players, the lone wolves. Welcomes those who wish to play with a relaxed mood, but learn and execute the profession of the real situations.
The kill:death ratio matters not in this clan (though they do help), only the tactics and techniques.
I thought I'd rewrite this L4D2 review after reading my old one:
Glitches everywhere and gunplay so uninspired it hurts. Point crosshair straight at zombie and hold the button down. All guns are lead laserbeams with no inticacy in their use. Zombies clip through everything and the animation engine trips over itself constantly. All melee weapons play like reskins of the HL1 crowbar when LEC/Raven showed us fully-featured melee in an FPS a decade ago. When your axe goes *SSHHLLLASSHH* nothing happens to your target, but when it goes *Whiff* the zombie dies instantly and it's head falls off, this makes sense. Versus doesn't justify anything and the infected hit detection is unworthy of the 2008 era. And who looks at an apocalypse story about hotshots with machineguns and marksman rifles and goes "I wanna be that zombie right there!"?! Versus is constantly used as an excuse to defend how little passion went into the mechanics and polish of the game, that makes no sense at all.
I really like the game, but I couldn't find the stupid cake.
My brother borrowed HL from a friend and then there went a shitload of time of the 12-year-old me. Insanely hard to get into a real game (no bots) nowadays.
