Long story short, this is what Duke Nukem was supposed to be. Cheeky, unapologetic, hilarious. The developers of the 'deep' Far Cry 3 got the opportunity to work on a game they wanted, something silly and low-pressure. And guess what, it's a pretty good game! Steeped in 80s references and the voice actor from Terminator and Aliens (including sadly, Colonial Marines) this game jokes around and makes fun of nearly every 80s macho movie you can imagine. For 15 bucks, its 4-8 hours of gameplay hit the spot without overstaying its welcome. If you like swearing, machismo or over the top action shlock, give this one a go!

Sure, the enemy AI is rubbish, it's poorly optimized, the weapons feel clunky, stealth is impossible, the difficulty curve is nuts, American voice acting is crap, there were glitches galore at launch and if you make a few bad choices early on you'll have to restart your game. But my god the atmosphere and feeling in this game is something every gamer needs to experience. I don't know what's in the Ukrane, but they seem to have a monopoly on games that drain the very warmth from your soul and leave you hollow and empty inside, but in a good way! Do not buy this game if you value your children, spouse, job, health or personal hygiene. An amazing game, and modable to boot! FUS RO DAH BABY!
