I have loved this series since game one. And while I love the first 2 games dearly, the last 2 have done the series good, especially this one.

The story telling may be the best in the series. You play several different characters and where the story goes, how it is told, and the voice acting is awesome.

Game looks amazing and and play smooth. Had no issues with lag or crashing. Ran great.

If you’re going for achievements, 2 play throughs should do it. Just makes a lot of looking around. Fun puzzles, story, and characters.

A must play. Highly recommended.

A pretty cool little game that is very frustrating as well. Getting all of the achievements is a challenge ( I didn;t), but good story and acting, though cheesy alot as well.
Only lasted about 4 hours in two goes, so get on sale.

When first starting this, wasn’t sure what to expect. You play a character named Henry. You start by walking in the woods and then you break off to a memory. This tells a short story as to why you are where you are now.

Eventually, you get to your tower and spend a lot of the game talking to and working with a voice on the walkie talkie named Delilah.

Found myself very intrigued by the interaction, the jobs to complete, and the mystery as the story as each day jumps forward. Not exactly what I thought it would be, but had wanting to see what was gonna happen next.

Very good voice acting and sound effects and the atmosphere they created was not amazing, but looked and for reasons I can’t explain just for the game.

Is a fairly short game so would probably wait for a sale (I did). Did enjoy it very much.

Very good look at the journey up to HL Alyx. Lots of interactive areas (like being able to go step by step through their office) and can see alot early and never before seen art, sounds, and video covering all of the games.
Was awesome to see how it all comes together and hopefully leads to what most of us (at least me) want to see: HL3.

My grandson absolutely loves this game. Took him just over 4 hours to beat and get all the achievements (he doesn't focus very well, but hey, he had a blast). Hard to recommend for full price, but when you have fun, you have fun. And he had fun.

A typical game in this genre, but still amazing and, as they seem to do with each game, they manage to keep it fresh with how the game is played based on whether the main character has a power or not. In this case, the main character does. And you will have to use it to continue to move forward in the game.
As usual, you are in a small town with a small cast of characters. You have as excellent story with some tragedy and working to find out who is behind it all and how everything came to be. Loads of surprises and loads of choices make this game replayable a couple of more times. The graphics are in the same style as previous games (which I like) and the sound track is awesome as always.
I definitely recommend this game. Draws on all emotions again. Enjoyed it all.

Wasn't sure what to make of this when it first started, but the acting was pretty good. The 2 main characters played their parts very well. The dialogue was very cheesy, but they made it funny and kept me very entertained.
The 6 story's are fairly short, but I liked them and there are alot of choices to be made. It took me about 2.5 hours to beat the game.
After you finish, you can select each episode to replay and try to get the other achievements which took me a little over an hour to do.
This is mostly a watch and click to make choices game (though there are a couple of spots where you must make quick decisions) but like I said earlier, I did like this game. Would recommend waiting for it to go on sale as it is fairly short. Will looking to play other games made by them.

What an amazing game. The original game got me to but a computer for the first time back in 1995, and if not HL:ALYX, this would be the best VR game (and game) I have ever played.

Seeing the mansion from this point of view was amazing. The graphics were very good and some of the detail like candle shadow moves on the walls and several other details was awesome. Seeing live characters in the game and the voice acting was very good too. The mansion design matches the original game and it maintains the core story, but this is mostly different puzzles from the original game (some are similar). The thought put into alot of these puzzles using VR was excellent. And most of the puzzles are very solvable with a little bit of thinking put forth. Some are very tough though and there was a glitch ,which has since been fixed, in the doll room that the heads quit attaching, so I had to use auto-solve feature on that one (you can get hints and have it auto-solve for you if you want, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the game). The final puzzle battling Stauff was pretty cool and fun.

The only other complaint I have is the controls can be a little challenging. You are constantly grabbing an item or clicking puzzle stuff which can make it take longer to solve. So that drove me crazy. Otherwise game ran very smoothly.

If you are going for the achievements, that could be challenging as I was missing 9 coins and somehow missed 1 record and memory. With the glitch being fixed can get the others since I won't need to use a coin to auto-solve any puzzle.

Very impressed with this game. Had so much playing and hope they release another 7TH Guest game. If you have a VR and want a good puzzle game, this is it. Great game.

Another cool Bischoff Brothers game. Having played Cayne, Beautiful Desolation, and the first Stasis (and Wasteland 3 which they helped with), I am loving their games. And this is no different.

But it is much more challenging. You get to control 3 characters (and share an inventory even thought you aren't in the same location which is a little strange) and really seems like alot to do. And it is. Causes some confusion and involves a lot of just kind of guessing a lot.

Still, very strong graphics, sound effects, and voice acting with a strong story (and eventually crazy little twist), this game was fun, though somewhat annoying at times, and entertaining game. Definitely recommend it.
