Pure and simple arcade fun at its best. Highly recommended to everyone who likes some nice action without being too serious. Also the splitscreen is awesome (would be even better wiht 4 players). Anyone who knows part one from about 10 years ago will love this (even without the cardeformations and the mapgenerator). Technical not top notch but still far far away from beeing ugly. Long story short: get it and have lots of fun.
