I think shipedit allows you to link to ftldat, then handles the unpacking for you. but I might be wrong. however, first unpack, then I suggets you the new editor superluminal over old shipedit

for one, the fleet disabler doesn't work for the Rock Cruiser, i haven't tried with any other ships yet... still trying to get that damn crystal cruiser... i've gotten atleast 3 damaged stasis pods in my last completed run... talk about insane... right? anyhow, i sometimes see a beacon with no connections and was wondering if that was where the crystal cruiser was located..... and i'm still clueless about how to get that damned ship after having rescued the crystal guy inside of the pod....
