The SillyZone (SZ) was the name given to a Team Fortress Classic (TFC) server run by Avatar-X. With his mods (notably AVC), it became "the most heavily modified TFC server in existence". After the end of the SZ around 2002-2003 two servers carried the mantle from its closure; 'The Monastery' and 'The Yaypit'. While both servers were different, they held and entertained the core membership of the SZ- making this community 10 or so years old.

The Yaypit (YP) was owned by -Baron-, ran TFC and HL2DM, and used modifications created mostly by Shyotl in the same spirit as the SZ. The YP server and forums are currently offline.

The Monastery (Mona) has been a server run by Ceown with games such as TFC, Sven Co-op, both using mods created by Zap, and currently HL2DM using Shyotl's mods. The Mona forums have been hosted by Phut for several years, but are now hosted by SirLamer. Many old members are still active on the forums!

The Mona is considered to be the main group of these two servers for the time being. The Yaypit Steam groups are placeholders in case -Baron- decides to bring the YP back but also to prevent people from stealing the name from him.

The Monastery is currently down but will be running Team Fortress 2 at themona.no-ip.com:27015. We have big plans for TF2 so keep watching!

The Chapel, the Monastery's partner server, is running HL2DM with Yay commands at jeffraven.mine.nu:27015
