Its good

Although you can use cash to get items you don't need to, its FTP so alls good

This game has potental but sadly it just keeps crashing so a thumbs down

First off lets get something straight, you can currently play all content without paying a penny, so many people are complaining its P2W but its not, i've played a small amount of time in rift (currently 1.7k hours) and if i didnt want to i didnt have to pay anything, yes there is a new expansion being released which you are being asked to pay for but you can get it for as little as £30 atm (prob cheaper elsewhere if you know where to look) but then how many wow expansions have you had to pay for ? oh all of them.

The game is great imo, plenty of people playing and assuming you get talking in local you can join a decent active guild like i have. My current guild mates purposly did dungeons they had completed ages ago to get me and others geared (my newest character that is), Yes you can pay cash to open certain things like earrings but you can also use ingame currency for that too (which currently takes no time at all to get).

The gfx are great and trion have recently introduced quad core support but only time will tell if it improves my already decent fps or not.

Would i recommend this game ? yes, its an mmo so get yourself into an active guild (there are plenty out there) enjoy all the current content (which is free), If you are thinking of spending a bit of real life cash then get the expansion (out on 16 nov).
All in all I love rift and will hopefully be playing it for years to come.
