This game is way better than its predecessor. I was surprised by it.

This game reminds me vaguely of Starsiege: Tribes in that you are a Space Soldier in armor that fights in vast battlefields against an enemy team composed of similar adversaries. Oh, yes, and the jetpack!
You have a jetpack.
Unfortunately, it is not as viable for skiing as its old Tribes counterpart, but still, it's an addition that gives a little more depth to the fights. Deciding if using it right now or waiting a couple of seconds could be the difference between life and death - although that's nearly always the case for every decision in shooters.
Anyway.

When you do something useful for your dear, dear team, like exterminating foes or destroying its turrets or supply stations, you always get money. That money can be spent in things like turrets, pilotable mechs and tanks and turrets.
This game is clearly meant for its multiplayer, with its Conquest mode - Battlefield style - but it has a passable singleplayer campaign.

For its price this game is a steal.

One of the greatest modern tactical games I ever played. All is done in real time. Yes, it's an hard game, but it's the good kind of hard game.

It kinda reminds me of Commandos, but with you managing an army of those units.
