In 2005 the Brazilian government launched the campaign of disarmament, which sought, among other things, disarm the citizen removing illegal guns from circulation that were in possession of it, paying them a symbolic compensation. Even those who had settled weapons, but wanted to get rid of them, chose to take to the campaign, handing their weapons to the government. All these weapons should be handed in federal police stations throughout the Brazil. Here I am in the police station where I work, in the days of the campaign, and a national reach to deliver the weapon with which I am in the picture: a German rifle double action model 98-K with telescopic sights. I do not know what fate has that gun, but I hope it was not the same as that of other weapons that were delivered: the destruction. Anyway, before I never see it again, I registered this photo.
About my nick:
I do like coffee and in 2003 I used to join the severs usind the nick café. In 2005 I became admin of pub server and, trying to create a different nick to avoid being identified, I had the idea to create a differet word that had the same phonetic, so café changed to kpheh. In portugese the phonetic is the same for ca=k, f=ph and é=eh, so café = kpheh.
