We had a good run - ran two tournaments and at one time a community - or so we'd like to think :)

Big thanks to all who visited, participated and helped us during the tournaments and the time ozl4d was online.

Just like Diablo, Borderlands is an addictive item-scavenging rpg. Calling Borderlands an RPG might be a bit of a stretch considering its very limited skill options, however its mission style and item focus lends heavily to MMORPGs and Diablo-style action RPGs. Although very playable, with a very original artistic style, Borderlands only has mildly engaging story which gives it next to no replayability, unless you fiend for the neverending quest for better items of co-op with friends.

Not only does Assassin's Creed II remedy the large majority of the issues that plagued the original, it takes both the gameplay, story and engine to a whole new level. With groundbreaking, innovative mechanics and brilliant artistic style, AC2 brings Ezio to the series, who is possibly one of the best characters in a game. Another reason to delve into AC2 is the lead in to AC Brotherhood, which is an even more refined and entertaining experience.

Thankfully EA has fixed the PC mouse issues from the original, and have improved on the strong mechanics, while adding plenty of cool options and maintaining the excellent scare-factor and creeping/ engaging story. Although not cutting edge, the graphics are also very appealing. Highly recommended to play the original first (with mouse .ini fixes), then Dead Space 2. Enjoy the fantastic horror movie vibe in this solid 3rd person action.
