It's delightfully fun and difficult. Co-Op is back baby!

This game is rough around the edges. It has things like trees that float up and down in the ground (they are moving up and down, it's weird). It has some bugs, but nothing game breaking. It has a janky UI but it functions.

All in all, if you enjoy creature survival games like The Isle, and Path Of Titans but you wanted it set in Africa with modern animals, then you should have fun here.

Birthing in new players is a wonderful system. As you grow you get these points that you get to spend on your stats. If you are birthed in you get 45 bonus points, and that's pretty significant. Though it is hard to survive as a new born if your mother and father aren't great... it's worth it in the end.

I was expecting to refund this game, as I didn't think it was far enough along on videos and such. After playing it for 11 hours straight I would say that It is a good game. It does suffer from the same problem that other games of this genre does. That being that the only real thing to do is PVP.

Even with that being the only real game play loop, it's still fun and worth your time if you enjoy other games in this genre.

This is the space game you're looking for.

Station building
Ship Building (not like space engineers but you can build and customize based on frames)
RPG Quests - pretty decent story lines
Sandbox - you can do what you want when you want
Each DLC is an improvement on the game

After 500 hours into this game I can say that this is a fantastic game.

One "downside" to the game is that it will take a long time to get some things done. For example if you have the materials, some station modules can take 15 minutes to build each.

The game also loses a lot of FPS in the late game as more and more things need to be calculated. You can mitigate this a little bit by reducing the graphics slightly. I turned off volumetric fog and saved 10 fps. The game is very CPU heavy.

Lastly, there's a ton of mods for you to enjoy once you get your fill on vanilla. I suggest though that you play vanilla first (with the DLCs). There's also a fantastic star wars mod.

This game is fantastic. I look forward to what more it brings through more of it's development. I played the earlier free version and this new career mode is the bee's knees.

If you enjoy building your starships and trying to optimize them this is your game. There's a competitive multiplayer mode for you min maxers out there. For those of you who enjoy making good looking ships though there's also the aforementioned career mode.

You can also build a fleet. Including logistics ships. The game's difficulty scales with each new system you visit.

TLDR - a great space ship game where you need to worry about crew, ammunition and more.

This is a fantastic game that has a lot of depth and a passionate dev team. I look forward to seeing what else they do with the game.

You get to build and manage your ship as you try to traverse the galaxy in search of a new home. The mechanics are solid, the quality of life improvements in the most recent patch have been rather welcomed.

If you like colony builder games, and want the added twist of a mix of FTL with Rimworld then you will enjoy this game. After 60 hours I think I can recommend this title now.

The short of it, the game runs like garbage on some of the highest end specs available on the market. Their low end "recommended" specs are a joke.

If they improved the performance of the game I would give it a thumbs up. The general premise of the game is interesting enough but I find myself on 4x speed with out much to do most of the time because (especially in late game) there's not a lot left to do and with the low frame rate it's just a waiting simulator. I gave the game nearly 30 hours before writing this review.

I just wish it ran better.

It is a relaxing game with a ton to offer. I would suggest waiting for sales to grab the DLC though as there is a lot of it.

KSP is one of the most amazing games ever. There are tons and tons of fond memories with that game. This game re-introduces bugs that were present in the early days of KSP. It lacks all of the features that were talked about in marketing. It has more bugs than places to visit.

In the About the Game Section what's missing here:

Next generation technology: None of the new engines, types of systems or anything of that nature are in the game yet.

Colonies: Nope, not here in the game.

Interstellar Travel: Not in the game yet.

Multiplayer: Nope, not present.

Also missing things like science progression, career mode, etc. Honestly KSP does a far better job at what IS in this game than KSP2, and it has a buttload more features.

Is this what the game was delayed for 3 years for? This is extremely bare bones. A sequel should improve on the original.

Simply put:

This is the gold standard of software tycoon games. The crazy level of detail that you can get into in this game is pure bliss for the individual who enjoys managing a company. Take your software company from the lowly beginnings of just you in a garage, to a multi-billion dollar corporation with ties into everything.

The game has a ton to offer out of the box. Don't be fooled by the early access of the game. It has been continuously receiving updates for the last 8 years, which is wild when you consider how many E/A titles have died in obscurity within their first year.

TL/DR: Best software tycoon / game dev tycoon / business tycoon game on the market, hands down.

Yeah, this game is a lot of fun. The ability to add MP3s to the songs that you make really helps drive away tha monotony of hearing the same song everytime at your gigs.
