Another convert from Diablo 4 (D4). I agree with the other reviews placing this game at the sweet spot between D4 and Path of Exile (PoE). The skill trees are more complex and allow way more build variety than D4, without the overwhelming feelings that came from considering starting a new character in PoE (patches there could break favorite builds, which was really, really frustrating too).

More than anything though, combat in this game feels fun - attacks are impactful and the loot game is rewarding -- even early game. The loot filter is also really approachable (I made one just to hide normal (white) items). Highest recommendation!

A solid metroid-vania with fun (but occasionally buggy) combat mechanics. They already issued one patch since the game was released, so with a bit more polish it could go from good to great.

The story is too-dependent on the prospect for a sequel, but I had enough fun playing I would buy it anyway if they get to make it...

A lot of fun so far, with mechanics that seem more fair than xcom's insane percentages.

Fun gameplay that rewards multiple playstyles that adapt on the fly - stealth is optional and if it fails it just switches into satisfying run-and-gun gameplay. The different weapons feel unique and are a blast to use. Played 100% solo with AI companion, it was the best I've ever seen in a game - stays out of the way, and prioritizes annoying enemies.

solid shooter, passable plot that seemed to justify the set pieces involved. Some of the fights took multiple tries, and different weapons were useful and satisfying.

Ubisoft decided not to give PC the epilogue DLC, even after all this time. Poisoned what was a decent experience for me.

Sunsetting ruined this game for me. I spent a ton of time grinding for gear (which is fine - that's the point) but the whole idea was that time would be well-spent. Bungie just annihilated that.

Very polished trading card game. Addicting as hell.

Amazing gameplay, engaging (if minimal) story, excellent characterization...

If you don't know what circle-strafing is, you might want to look that up before starting ;)
