I knew very little of the Soul series when, by chance, I stumbled across an online petition to bring the title from console to PC. From the few screenshots I'd glanced over and a general description of what it had to offfer, my curiosity sparked. intuition told me it was something special, something I'd enjoy. Halfheartedly I signed the petition, not expecting anything to come of it. Since I didn't want to invest in a new console, I put the fantasy out of my mind. Fastforward six months later, Dark Souls PC has been released for a week as I write this on my 27th birthday. With nearly 100 hours played I've hardly been able to seperate myself from it. I'm completely blown away by this game. It feels wrong calling it a 'game', my mind automatically categoriizes it with other titles that don't hold a candle to it, even despite their genre. Just call it an experience, one you won't forget.

p.s. Make sure you play it with a gamepad, as intended. <3
