Howdy, umm this is the part of the page were you read useless information about nothing and feel sumwhat enlightend by the expreiance. Maybe thats got something to do with the fact that you can read, or maybe your just as excited as i was when i wrote this crap. Did you know that Counter-Strike is over 10 years old now?
Thanks to Gooseman and Cliffe who had a dream of making a game that would captivate an entire new genre of gaming. With the 1st beta version released in March of 1999 that continued with 6 beta test versions before the first "offical version" being of 1.3 which was a joint venture of both the creators of CS and Valve. Many versions have come and gone, and now we are left with 2 final products. 1.6 Steam version and CSS source version. I started playing back in early 1999 and jumped on the original banwagan so to speak and have love every minute of it.
