The L4D Community to Master Co-Op

*Let me know if there is announcement or event spam! I don't want to detract people from the group.
-E-Machine

These are the guidelines of the group:

1. DIFFICULTY: For campaign, advanced is merely the training for Expert mode. The goal is to pwn this game. Expert mode is highly encouraged.
VS: I'm still not sure what the best difficulty is for a balanced vs. game. Normal? I don't know yet.

2. This group will focus on the Co-Op aspect of the game and mastering PvM (Person vs. Monster) tactics. With PvP it's the same concept. Try to master tactics to win. Either way, try to work as a team.

3. NOOBS: I'm assuming everyone is good, but some are better than others. Constructive criticism is encouraged and should be listened to if it's legitimate advice. Don't be a dick if a player messes up. You can always vote-kick them if they're downright terrible.

4. KEEP AN OPEN MIND! Respect other people's playing styles and strategies. For example, if a person thinks the hunting rifle is the best gun, but another thinks it's garbage, that's OKAY! People are allowed to have differing opinions. Try to develop new ways of beating the game. There's no single way to beating the game and strategy is encouraged.

5. GROUPING: Find a group of people that you're comfortable with. INVITE YOUR FRIENDS to the group! The more you play with the same people, the better you can work as a team.

6. No griefing or being an asshole. :)

STARTING A GAME ON THE NEW SERVER:

You start up L4D.
Go to console, enter: sv_search_key "el4dcoop"
Select Play Campaign or Play Versus
Select Play with Friends (if you're trying to get all your friends into the lobby first before adding more people)
Create Lobby
Select type (Campaign or Versus)
Set options, Create Lobby
Have your friends join
select Permissions, set to Public Game
Wait for others to join, usually this goes fast, sometimes it takes a few minutes.
Once it's full, hit start game.

If you want to always get this server when making a lobby, put this line into your autoexec.cfg
sv_search_key "el4dcoop"
