I bought a lifetime sub at launch. It might not have been worth it back then, but the game has come along a very long way since then. Right now, they're holding the 2nd anniversary event, and I think this is how the game should have been back then. I've been having a blast with the new additions the past week or so, and I hope the game continues to get better under Perfect World's management (it used to be from Cryptic).

Plays a lot like LoL but not intuitive at all. I had a hard time even trying to figure out how to buy items in the shop, or use consumables - and it turns out they weren't even real items. The community seems to be just as bad or worse, very newb unfriendly.

Pretty impressive for a two-man crew, it's a 2D squad-based space rpg adventure, a lot like EV Nova, except you have a mothership and multiple ships to manage. You can only manage as many ships as you have hangars, so it's more micromanagement of a few ships rather than controlling fleets of ships like in Homeworld or Starcraft. I have a feeling I'll be playing this for a long time.
