I'm dead serious, as a game developer who uses RPG Maker Vx Ace, I KNOW a game engine when I see one and this guy looks to be using the bare bones of it with very few scripts. If you enjoy it, great for you but I wouldn't recommend it if you haven't yet when I could litterally whip up a game like this in a month flat with very little effort. The least the guy could have done was use something beyond RPG Maker's default battle system... yesh....

This looks like a RPG maker game and many other of those support linux.. why not this game? Some even support android which to me is very optimal for this kind of RPG.

Is there a chance to change the resolution ?
