Consistency is all I need...Immortality is all I seek...

Aspiring game developer who loves making games just as much as playing them. Let me know if you need an extra asskicker, I'll at least try. =p
The successor to the surprise hit Portal takes the concept of the first game and runs with it, creating new challenges for both action-junkies and puzzle geeks alike. The co-op mode in particular (best played with a friend who also has not played it) encourages players to think outside of the box. I did not start the co-op mode until after I had already beaten the single player, and I still was bewildered at the concept of four portals at once. Trust me, if you even moderately enjoyed the first Portal, then you will love this; because it's more of the same, but much better.
You have no reason not to try this game. And believe me, you won't regret it. It is easily the best class-based first person shooter. Even better, it's free. So try it. You have nothing to lose except the hours you will use playing it.
At first glance, Terraria looks like a 2D ripoff of Minecraft. I first heard of Terraria when the developers were nearly finished doing their Let's Play of it. After seeing the trailer and a few episodes of the Let's Play, I realized that instead of being a ripoff of Minecraft, Terraria is simply the most unique game in a relatively new genre ("The Block Builder").
With a greater focus on combat, including a much wider variety of gear to collect and monsters to fight, Terraria proves that the "block-building" genre is not limited to titles that involve mostly creativity. Combat is not all there is to do in Terraria, though. Exploration is still highly encouraged, as there are hidden areas to find, such as underground jungles and dungeons. All of this combined with unique features like meteor strikes, boss monsters, and corrupted ground ensures that those who play Terraria will continue to do so for years to come.
