When Zonko was a child, he witnessed his parents killed outside of an opera by a mugger. He was launched into space before his home planet exploded, and landed on Earth, where he was raised by a group of paranormal researchers. After being bitten by a radioactive spider and having adamantium grafted to his bones, a burst of cosmic radiation gave him the ability to see sound. He now fights crime, but is forced to deal with his thirst for blood, and crippling alcoholism. He is Vengeance! He is the Night! HE…IS…ZONKO!
