I Googled "Who would win in a fight between Altair, Ezio, and Connor?" And the best answer I found (though I would say Connor) was:
"I would say Altair, only because of a game mechanic in the first one.
Whenever you took damage in the first Assassin's Creed, it wasn't a health bar that decreased, but a sync bar. That means that if Desmond got hurt while re-living Altair, it actually meant that Desmond was doing something that Altair didn't, like killing a civilian.
It's kind of hard to explain, but basically, Altair never actually got hurt or took damage, that was all Desmond (the player) messing up, which makes Altair the best, at least to me."
