Well to start off... Imagine I almost refunded the game!

Originally, I tried the game out for only 2 hours and I was confused about everything that was going on. The game itself was different than all the other made by Con Artist Games. But, since I was an old time fan of their games, I had faith that the game had more to it.

Now, after truly finishing the game, I can easily say that I'm glad I was right. The game has much more to it than you'd expect, from diversified environments to a great range of enemies and weapons. The mutations mechanic is also a great unexpected twist.

On the other side, I found the music a bit bland after some time (indeed it took like 10+ hours to notice that) and the ragdoll effect from explosions can be a bit too much (that last quest objective got blown off the map haha).

Overall, this game is one of the few where my expectations where easily surpassed.

Thank you Con Artist Games and Armor Games!

Lord of the Rings: Shadow of War surprised and captivated me all the way to the end.
The nemesis mechanics stand out on their own and should be used and refined even more for future games! The combat, like in the previous game, is the best part and it always keeps you at the edge of your seat. The multiplayer sieges and vendettas are a great addition.
Regarding the drawbacks, there are still a lot of bugs and the story is inconsistent in some ways.
I know the story here is lore breaking in many ways, but that's okay. If it followed the normal lore I don't think it would've turned out in this great game.
Overall, the game is a great run for your buck if you can get past it's drawbacks.

Early Access Review
Well it's normal and all, but then you start to meet other people and it gets pretty wild.

To be honest, I gave some questionable names to my viruses, but the game is pretty good!

I heard about Divinity 2 from many soutces that it's an underrated great rpg game, so I decided to buy it (2 of my friends got it as well, might as well try to play it together).
We've got to a sloppy start and after messing around we got overwhelmed by it's difficulty level (classic mode), so we had to take a break and rethink about some things.
I knew that this was good, but in order to progress you had to actually play it smart, so I started a solo campaign and ended up here with almost 100 hours on that playthrough.

To cover up some of the game's strongest points, it has a great story even if it started somewhat with a mediocre tone. It built up nicely along the way and had well balanced endings. Finally, another game that put effort into more characters than the main one!
There are some beautiful sceneries to admire and great music to listen to along the way, although I would've like to hear a greater diversity of tracks.
The combat is just right. It's rewarding positioning, preparation, combos and many other things that you have to take in consideration.
Last but not least, there are many things to try out after you finish the game: another campaign with the other characters that you couldn't get int your party, play arena, play multiplayer campaign, mod the game and other.

As downsides, there is a grain of luck in combat, if you don't know before what would happen in certain battles you end up with them being harder to win than they should be, because you don't know how the scripted flow would go on.
There are some quests chains that are not intuitive and can get messed up one way or another if you don't look it up on the internet (soem quest even get bugged out).
As a casual achievement hunter, I get as many achievements out of a good game as possible. But in this case there some that are not properly explained (like the "pray at the 7 altars" one, or the "over to the farther coast") or just bugged out (las example, "Technical eggstacy").

As a conclusion, if you're an RPG fan this is the game for you to get regardless of the price, because in the end, it's all worth it!

I played PUBG a lot when it was in beta and I can say it was a blast because it had updates concentrated on the game and improving it, in other words it had promise. Afterwards the true lack of development and game optimization, and focus on loot boxes maps brought the game to a mediocre status which it is now. To sum up, I'm not saying this game can't be up there again, it's just that the development team have to get their priorities straight before this becomes a dead game.

Reasons I recommend this game:
- made frodo throw the wedding ring in the volcano, afterwards I stole his giant eagle
- in the "summon a mythical creature" quest I summoned a good wife and it worked
- I threw breakfast into a dinner cauldron
- I helped a space marine escape from a stasis prison, open laser gates, repair his ship, but he left me behind - top 10 anime betrayals
- gave an axe to a barber, only manly men can go to his place now
- helped a patient with a blue helmet win a race in a hospital, but then I stole his trophy
- made a special pizza then added laxatives into it
- "put on a billboard what we all want to see" I put a sad baby
- a scary wife joined a monster club

It was fun and all, but after 15 minutes we got a hacker and it ruined the fun. :/
