If you're like me and you've moved on from WoW and are eagerly awaiting SW:TOR, then you've likely considered this game to hold you over until the Bioware title releases.. I'm here to tell you to save your $40. Rift borrows every game mechanic from WoW and brings nothing new to the table that's actually meaningful. DCUO (IMO a better MMO) lets you instance content from as low as lvl 5 with others while even a free MMO like Forsake World (also IMO a better MMO) uses the concept of astrology synergy as a game mechanic (even though you can't invert the y-axis which is nuts). Nothing new or inspiring or even cool in Rift except the idea of what feels like forced PvE with outdoor rifts which is pretty but highly overrated. As a result, you're left with a lackluster clone of a game you're already tired of. They should change the name from Rift to "World of Buyers Remorse".
