Able Company

Clan History:

Able company is an old clan, not as young as the Steam group date might sign. It was first created for the game of Call of Duty 4. Yet it has very interesting history. First, original, Able Company had been under leadership of Cpt. Shughart... the clan under his leadership had not survived long enough, as he, being unable to handle clan leadership had stepped down... leaving the leadership to Lt., later Cpt. Fairborn.

He was the leader of Able Company for the longest time. Clan under his leadership has first been only a CoD4 clan, then grew into BF2, CSS, TF2, HL2:DM or even CoD:WaW clan, having servers in each of mentioned games. Nevertheless Able couldn't handle such amount of games and had finally came back to playing CoD4 and HL2:DM.

After release of popular MMORPG, Age of Conan, Fairborn and one of the leaders decided that Able Company was done for, and they have made a new clan, called Ascendacy. This made the first generation of Able company end. Able Company had been given a rest for couple of months. Then after that time, with help of couple of members (Stealth, Shank, Witto), Fair was given a second chance taking leadership of Able Company. This uprising was probably the most active time in Able's history. Having many scrims monthly, Able company have been one of the best clans in their league. Unluckily, having lost the temper, Able company, slowly backed out from the gaming scene.

Thats when part of the members decided to take things into their own hands. Few of them (f.e. Stealth and Samh) decided that Fairborn’s leadership skills were not enough, as he couldn't handle the clan seeking new challenges. Thats when Able's third generation had been given birth. Able Cubed (<A3>), was a rebel spinoff from original Able, concentrating mostly at HL2:DM Roleplay servers, and their total annihilation. And though the original Able was still here, most of the member took the path of Able Cubed.

Rich history of Able Cubed will be here cutted out... but few members decided to come back to Able Company. Even though the clan wasn't so much into competitive gameplay anymore, it had many great members. Having lasted over a year in such state, in family atmosphere and great fun. But one day was different from the others, as the clan leader at that time, Fairborn, decided it was too calm for him, too boring with so many Europeans, and decided to leave Able, and start playing in other clan... what he was looking for? Who knows, all we know is that he left what we though, were his friends, people who he knew over 2 years....

Here we are now, after Fairborn leaving, clan has been given new head leaders, Shank and Witto. Though one of the oldest of current members, they have promoted new clan sub-leaders, as with their help, lead Able Company into new, let's hope, better times... Clan with such vivid history needs to be continued... even if there will be one member left...
