I'm a father of two young boys of ages 2 and 4, so I don't have a lot of free time, but I've been spending ALL of it playing TF2 and some L4D. Also, I think pictures of dressed up dogs are hilarious.

I normally hate action games because they tend to be so constraining, but I was so engrossed in the story, I forgot about some of the more annoying factors that come along with an action game like not being able to figure out which button you're supposed to be mashing to get the zombie off your face in five tries, lol. I'm only through episode 2, so I'm not sure if the choices you have to make affect the end, but I can tell you it certainly affect your pysche when you're faced with several lose-lose decisions in a row. Who are you going to disappoint this time? Kenny? Clementine? These soul wrenching decisions are starting to keep me up at night. Great characters, great dialog, great story. I love this game so far.

I'm not sure why this game has a metascore of only 63 because I loved it. Some context is probably in order: I played it with my two sons ages 8 and 6 and we worked on all the puzzles as a team and as extra sets of eyes when trying to spot the hidden puzzle pieces. We loved it. I imagine fans of casual adventure games would also like this with or without children. The art and music are both very pleasant and a nice break from the frenetic pace of first person shooters.
