Amazing, amazing, amazing. The gameplay in this is just wonderful. It's been a long time since I was so totally engrossed in such a strange game which, when it showed me how hard it would be, made me proceed frightened and cautious, yet confident that I could eventually win if I try long and hard enough. The last time I remember such a feeling was when I played the game Heart of Darkness on the original PS1 as a boy. Just when you're fighting the normal grunts of the game, you can easily die if you make a wrong move or two. No matter how high of a level you get, and no matter how invincible you think you are, there's always at least a slight chance that you will screw up and get yourself killed. When you die you drop all of your humanity, the substance which keeps you from bearing the form of an undead, and all of your souls, the only substance valued as currency in this cursed land of the dead. There's a catch, though; souls are used both to buy equipment AND level up your character!

Awesome, awesome puzzle platformer that easily outclasses Super Mario Bros or New Super Mario Bros or whatever. Get it if you have any respect for a challenging puzzle with a great soundtrack and a mindbending plotline.

Buy this game. Best 2D platformer ever made. EVER MADE. MUSIC IS AWESOME. PREPARE TO DIE A BILLION TIMES AND GET AWESOME SATISFACTION AS YOU WATCH EVERY DEATH AND THE ONE SUCCESS AT ONCE.
